Root Canal Therapy is a treatment which involves complete removal of blood vessels and nerves from a tooth.

A rubber dam is used to isolate the tooth receiving RCT. This barrier prevents bacteria, saliva and other irritants from contaminating the canal.

RCT may be required when infection or inflammation occurs in or around a tooth. It may also be indicated when inadequate tooth structure exists or when the tooth cannot be reliably restored.
